harry_trump_400 Harry W.G.Trump is General Manager of Centrax Engineering Services Ltd., who provide Project Management, Engineering and Installation and Commissioning services for its sister company Centrax Gas Turbine Division who manufacture generator sets in the range 2.5 to 64 MWe using the Rolls-Royce 501 and Trent series of gas turbines. Applications include Combined Heat and Power / Cogeneration, base load power and stand-by power. The Company has customers throughout the world in a variety of industries including Oil & Gas, District Heating, Food, Chemicals, Brewing, Manufacturing, Ceramics, Paper and Automobile. The company also operates an extensive service support organisation providing comprehensive maintenance solutions for its customers. The company has its factory at Newton Abbot where the generating sets are built and tested. Also on this site is its gas turbine repair and overhaul facility as well as Centrax Components Ltd who manufacture complex components for the aircraft engine industry.

steve_southcott_400Steve Southcott works as an International Trade Adviser in Devon for UK Trade & Investment – the government backed organization that helps British businesses ‘internationalize’ and succeed in overseas markets. From a marketing and sales background within European industrial process control industries, Steve’s export career spans almost 30 years. With new business development as a primary responsibility, he has exported to many countries around the world, establishing and building new business and routes to market through carefully selected international business partners. Now he advises businesses throughout Devon on the strategic issues of exporting, and can provide access to a wide range of UK Trade & Investment support services designed to help new, novice or experienced exporters increase their international business interests.

 

 

 

 

 

tim_sheehan_400Tim Sheehan works as a foreign currency specialist for World First UK Ltd, who are a leading provider of international business to business payment solutions and foreign exchange transactions. As an independent specialist our mission is to protect clients from the volatility of the currency markets through understanding their exposure and putting in place the necessary hedging strategies. Tim’s currency career spans almost ten years, firstly working in the London markets and more recently focusing on the needs of importers and exporters primarily in the SW. Before that he spent many years in the international aviation industry involved in private charters and aviation insurance.

 

 

 

 

  

  

mark_taylor_650Mark Taylor currently works for the Royal Devon and Exeter Foundation Trust within their Payroll & Pensions Deprtment. He has been involved with the DITF since 2003 and the separate South Devon / Exeter Export clubs from which DITF evolved. In addition he has been a committee member since 2004.

In the past Mark has worked in various aspects of the logistics industry and commercial companies including international traders. In his words he has worked “both sides of the fence”.

He greatly values his involvement with the DITF as he feels it offers a valuable service to international traders within our area. Mark feels that this service is very important during these challenging times.

In addition Mark is very excited by the launch of our dedicated web site which will assist in the DITF goals of being more geographically inclusive and to have a higher profile within the region.
