Devon International Trade Forum

The Devon International Trade Forum, as it is now known, was originally formed  from the amalgamation of the South Devon and Exeter business export clubs.

Known as DITF for short, it is run by a committee made up of people who already successfully export their company's products, and others who are involved in the day to day business of exporting. They all give up their time freely to support the DITF.

DITF aims to hold four meetings a year. Each meeting is free for all delegates to attend and takes the format of four short presentations on different aspects of exporting.

The meetings are always planned to appeal to new and existing exporters, to demonstrate some individual export marketing techniques. A round up of the current world financial state is presented at each meeting by one of the leading banks.

One of our committee members is from UK Trade and Investment and regularly updates delegates on all the help that is currently available to companies wishing to open new markets or even to just get started in exporting.

There is a regular case study where a delegate who is already successful in exporting presents their marketing strategy and shares their experiences with the meeting. These case studies are always very interesting and useful especially to delegates who may be just starting out on the drive to export their products or services.

We try to make all our meetings short and punchy, so that nobody becomes bored and they last approximately 1 ½  to 1 ¾  hours.

Refreshments are provided after each meeting so that delegates can network together in a convivial atmosphere and share experiences.

If you are in a business  manufacturing products or providing services, you are warmly invited to attend our meetings, to enjoy and make use of the presentations and to network with like minded people.

If you would like to be placed on the invitation list, please email us below with your details. Invitations are sent out several weeks in advance to give you plenty of notice and future dates of meetings are published on this website.
